Equipment

  • Non stick pan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sesame seeds roasted
  • ½ cup jaggery
  • 1 tablespoon ghee/ coconut oil/ vegan butter

Instructions

  • Roast sesame seeds on low flame for 5 mins.Keep it aside.
  • Melt ½ tablespoon ghee and add jaggery to it
  • Mix well till jaggery melts for 5 mins on low flame. Check if jaggery is ready. A drop of jaggery when added to a bowl of cold water should solidify.
  • Once jaggery is ready,add roasted sesame seeds.Mix well for 5 mins.
  • Switch off gas and let it cool for 5 mins.
  • Grease your palms with ½ teaspoon ghee and shape them into equal sized balls.
  • Store in the air tight container for 7-10 days.
