Matar Paneer(In Pressure cooker)

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup oil
  • ginger garlic,green chillies(1 teaspoon each)
  • cup onions chopped
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • ½ tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. garam masala
  • 2 tsp. chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp. coriander pdr
  • 2 tsp.salt
  • 2 tbsp. yogurt
  • 300 gms paneer cottage cheese
  • ¾ cup peas
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon kasoori methi

Instructions

  • In a pressure cooker,add oil,ginger,garlic and chillies.
  • Add Onion,cook until brown.
  • Now,add tomato puree,cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Add spices,cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add curd,cook until oil comes out.
  • Add Paneer,peas,water and kasuri methi.
  • Pressure cook until 1-2 whistles.
  • Serve with Roti bread.
