Easy mango salad | Mango salsa recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 semi ripe mango peeled and diced
  • 1 cucumber sliced and diced
  • ½ onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon chillies chopped, as per taste
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon mint / cilantro chopped
  • 1 small piece green chillies / jalapeno as per taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Peel the mangoes, cut down the cheeks and chop it coarsely.
  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl
  • Refrigerate the salad mix for 30 minutes, this allows the flavors to mix well.
  • Serve fresh

Notes

Note: You may add jalapeno pepper if you like extra spicy. Add red bell pepper or green if you want to add more crunch. Adjust fresh lime juice according to the sweetness of mango.
The ratio of fruits in the salad can be changed to suite your taste.
The ingredients will become soft if kept for long hours and lose their crunch.
