Paneer Pakoda- cottage cheese fritters
Paneer pakoda is a great snack for tea-time loved by one & all.
- ½ cup besan/chickpea flour
- 300 gm paneer/cottage cheese cut into long thick cubes
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp tumeric
- Pinch of baking soda
- Salt as per taste
- Water to make thick batter
- Oil for frying
Soak paneer pieces in warm water.
Toss in 2 tbsp chickpea flour.
Add all dry ingredients to remaining chickpea flour and make a thick batter with water.
In a pan,heat oil and fry them on a medium flame,until golden brown.
