Depending on the rice noodle you have picked, you can either cook them in milk or water. I choose to cook them in hot water and transfer to a bowl of cold water.
Start cooking the milk,reduce the milk to half.
Add the falooda sev to it and cook it further for 5 minutes.
Add the rose syrup and let it chill in the refrigerator.You may add sugar if you like it extra sweet.
Sabja/chia seeds
Soak sabja seeds in water for 3-4 hours with 1 cup water. They will soften and swell up. These seeds resemble chia. These seeds have a cooling effect on the body. Perfect to beat the summer heat. If you cannot find these basil seeds, use chia instead.
Serving suggestion
In a tall glass, add the chilled milk and noodle mix.
Add the sabja seeds and mix.
Add scoops of ice cream, jelly and chopped nuts. Serve fresh.
