Air fryer Gulab Jamun
Evergreen Indian dessert cooked in air fryer
glutenfree, glutenfree kala jamun, gulab jaam, kala jaam
sweet potato boiled and grated

Bring all ingredients to a boil and cook until you get a light sticky syrup.
Keep it hot turning the heat for few minutes.It will thicken once it cools down.

Boil/steam sweet potato,remove the skin and grate it.
Add milk powder to it with 1 tablespoon hot ghee.
Knead the dough, add more milk powder if required,
keep it aside
for 15 minutes.
Grease your hands with ghee,shape the mix into balls of any shape.
Transfer the tray into the freezer,allow to
for 2-3 hours.
Pre heat the air fryer at 150C for 10 minutes,place
muffin cases ,greased with ghee/butter in the air fryer
gulab jamun balls in the air fryer.
Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes,
brushing with ghee twice
Once they turn light brown,remove them

If you place these on a silicon or baking sheet in the airfryer, them the shape will be less round.
