Equipment

  • Peeler
  • Spiralizer
  • kadai/frying pan (traditional method)
  • or air fryer for low oil version

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato Around 200gms
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt or as per taste

Instructions

  • Wash and peel the large potato.
  • Use a spiralizer to make the spirals. Spray oil once and toss little salt.
  • Preheat the air fryer for 10 mins at 180 deg C and place the spirals in it.
  • Air fry for 14-15 mins @180C. Spray oil once/twice in between, turn over after 6-7 minutes.
  • Once cooked, keep it on a tissue paper for few minutes, move to an air tight container.

Notes

The potato used for this should be a waxy potato. I have used Dutch cream potato, you can use any Russet type of potatoes.
Once you have made the potato noodles, do not keep them in open for a longer period of time. In case you are cooking in batches, keep the noodles immersed in water and remove the excess water before cooking in the air fryer.
