  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 1 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 piece ginger grated
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • 6-7 dumpling wrappers

Wonton soup

  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3-4 stalks green onion or 1 small onion
  • 5-6 brown mushrooms halved
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon soup stock powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or as per taste
  • handfull bean sprouts
  • salt and pepper as per taste


Vegan dumpling filling

  • Heat oil. Add cabbage and ginger ,cook for few minutes.season with salt and pepper. Keep it aside to cool.
  • Remove the dumpling wrappers from packet and keep the filling in a bowl.
  • Add filling to individual wrappers and add some drops of water at the edges to close it.
  • Carefully close each wrapper folding it at each end making a semi circle
  • Repeat this for the whole filling.

How to make vegan wonton soup?

  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped green onions, garlic and ginger to it.
  • Add sliced mushrooms
  • Add water with miso paste, soy sauce, soup stock and let it come to a boil.
  • Add the dumplings to the soup and let it boil for 10-12 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  • Season with salt,pepper and lemon juice as per taste.
  • Garnish with green onion and bean sprouts. Serve hot.
