- 1 cup boiled sweet potato mashed
- 2 cup amaranth flour rajgira flour
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- ½ tablespoon dried mint leaves
- green chillies optional, as per taste
- Salt to taste
- 1-2 tbsp oil for brushing
In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, amaranth flour, ginger, green chillies, dried mint and salt. Mix into a soft dough.
1 cup boiled sweet potato
Take a small portion of the dough and shape into round patties (cutlets/tikkis).
Place patties on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze for 2-3 hours to firm up.
Preheat air fryer to 185°C (365°F) for 5 minutes.
Brush patties lightly with oil and arrange them in the air fryer basket.
1-2 tablespoon oil
Air fry at 185°C (365°F) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Brush or spray with oil once more for even golden brown cooking.
Serve hot with green chutney or yogurt dip.
