- 2 corn cobs cut into ribs
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- ½ tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon soup stock powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- ½ tablespoon salt or to taste
- 2 tablespoons water
Cut the corn cobs lengthwise into rib-style pieces, or use raw pre-cut corn ribs.
In a mixing bowl, combine onion powder, garlic powder, soup stock powder, oil, salt, and water.
Mix into a smooth seasoning paste.
Add the corn ribs and toss until well coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 185°C or 365°F.
Place the coated corn ribs in the air fryer basket, keeping them spread out.
Air fry the corn ribs. During cooking, brush the leftover seasoning mix over the ribs.
Continue cooking until the corn is tender and the edges are browned. Total cook time is 12 to 13 minutes.
Soup stock powder can be salty, so adjust the salt to your taste.
Brush the leftover seasoning paste during cooking instead of adding extra oil separately.
Try to keep the corn ribs spread out in the air fryer basket for better browning.
The exact browning can vary depending on the air fryer model and the thickness of the corn ribs.
Check that your soup stock powder suits your dietary needs if you want the recipe to be vegan or gluten-free.
