- 250 gms potatoes choose from russet/king edward/royal dutch cream/sebago/royal blue
- 1 tbsp. oil used in the spray
- salt as per taste or any seasonong of choice
Wash n peel potatoes. Make crinkle cut potato slices using mandolin slicer(these are thinly cut chips(3 mm),once you cook them the thickness will reduce). Soak in water for 3-4 hours. Drain the excess water.
Line the slices on a wooden skewer ,spray oil on the potato slices.
Preheat air fryer for 10 mins at 200 deg C(390F). line the skewered chips in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 14-15 mins at 200 deg C(390 F).
Spray oil again and season with salt or any seasoning of choice. Cook further for 4-5 minsĀ @190C(375 F).
If there are some chips that are raw from the middle then cook them separately for few minutes at 190C(375F)
Serve warm or store in an air tight container once cool.
250 gms is good for 1 batch.
The thinner we slice them , the better they will cook in the airfryer.I have lined them in a skewer to cook a big batch of chips.
