Lentils
- ¼ cup Chana dal
- ¼ cup tuvar dal
- 2 tablespoon urad dal
Spices
- 1 inch cinnamon sticks
- ½ cup coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp. cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon methi dana /fenugreek seeds
- 4-5 cloves
- ½ cup dry coconut powder /khopra , grated
- 50 gm red chillies adjust as per your spice level
- 1 tablespoon oil for brushing on red chillies
- 3-4 sprigs curry leaves ½ cup curry leaves
Roast chana dal for 5 mins at 160C| 320F, in a preheated air fryer. Now, add tuvar dal and urad dal to the bowl. Air fry them with chana dal for 5minutes at 160 C| 320 F.
Add spices (cinnamon,cloves,cumin seeds,methi seeds,coriander seeds), Coconut and chillies(brushed with oil) , cook for 8-10 minutes at 160 deg C| 320 deg F.
Add the curry leaves, cook for 2-3 minutes,allow the mixture to cool down
Powder them in Vitamix or a spice grinder.
Store them in a glass bottle once they cool.
