Wash the potatoes well and remove any dirt.
Insert a wooden skewer through the centre of each potato, from one end to the other.
Using a sharp knife/spiral cutter, cut the potato in a spiral shape around the skewer. Keep the slices as even as possible.
Gently stretch the potato slices along the skewer to form a spiral.
Soak the potato spirals in cold water for 10-15 minutes to remove extra starch.
Pat the potatoes dry with paper towels.
Preheat the air fryer at 185°C / 365°F for 5 minutes.
Brush the potato spirals with oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 185°C / 365°F for 18-20 minutes. Brush with oil and seasoning halfway through cooking.
If the slices are thicker or the potatoes are large, cook for 5-7 minutes more until crisp and golden brown.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
