- 2 teaspoon oil
- 1 cup cabbage shredded
- 1 piece ginger grated
- salt and pepper as per taste
- 6-7 dumpling wrappers
Wonton soup
- 2 teaspoon oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic chopped
- 3-4 stalks green onion or 1 small onion
- 5-6 brown mushrooms halved
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or as per taste
- 1 teaspoon soup stock powder optional
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or as per taste
- handfull bean sprouts
- salt and pepper as per taste
- 3 cups water
Vegan dumpling filling
Heat oil. Add cabbage and ginger ,cook for few minutes.season with salt and pepper. Keep it aside to cool.
Remove the dumpling wrappers from packet and keep the filling in a bowl.
Add filling to individual wrappers and add some drops of water at the edges to close it.
Carefully close each wrapper folding it at each end making a semi circle
Repeat this for the whole filling.
How to make vegan wonton soup?
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped green onions, garlic and ginger to it.
Add sliced mushrooms
Add water with miso paste, soy sauce, soup stock and let it come to a boil.
Add the dumplings to the soup and let it boil for 10-12 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Season with salt,pepper and lemon juice as per taste.
Garnish with green onion and bean sprouts. Serve hot.
