Instructions
How to make stuffing?
Heat oil in a skillet and add chopped onions, ginger and green onions to it.
Add chopped carrots to it along with salt.
Add curry powder to the skillet and mix well.
Now, add boiled potatoes to the skillet and mix well.
Now, add the frozen peas and mix well.
Mash the mixture coarsely to make a stuffing. Keep it aside to cool completely.
How to make air fryer vegan pasties?
Thaw the sheets for 5-7 minutes(or as per instructions on the packet)
Cut the pastry sheets into 4 equal parts.
Add the stuffing to each part,line the edges with water,cut them in desired shapes, seal them with a fork.You may even make a rectangle if you find that simpler.Make an incision on the top to allow the air to escape.
Move the filles pasties in a tray to the freezer for 10 minutes.Preheat the air fryer for 5 mins at 190 C| 375 F.
Add the pasties to the air fryer basket without overlap and brush oil on it.
Air fry pasties at 190 C| 375 F for 13-14 minutes brushing oil in between.
Cook until they are golden brown
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Notes
To cook them in the oven, it will cake close to 22-24 minutes at 180C.
