Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice and quinoa I mix quinoa with white rice
  • 2 tablespoon oil sesame oil or any vegetable oil
  • 2 cup Broccoli florets
  • ½ cup garlic chives chopped,else use garlic cloves (2-3)if you like.
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a wok on a medium/high flame & add brocolli to it.
  • Cover and cook for few minutes (3-4 minutes)
  • Take off the lid once the broccoli is cooked. I like to keep it crunchy so do not cook it completely.
  • Now add cooked rice with garlic chives, ground turmeric powder and salt.
  • Give it a stir and let it cook for few minutes(4-5 minutes.Turn off the heat
  • Serve this vegetarian broccoli fried rice warm with some tomato soup.
