Heat oil in a pan and Add onion,ginger and garlic to it. Let it cook for few minutes.
Add fresh tomato puree when onion is light brown.
Add curry powder and red chilli powder. If you do not have curry powder, you may use a mix of turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Keep stirring until the spices are mixed well.
Add the potatoes,pasta and any veggies you like. Add water to the mix,cover and cook on low flame
Once the potatoes and pasta are cooked, turn off the heat.
Serve hot. Optionally sprinkle some crushed black pepper and a spoonful of lime juice if you like.
