Indian Bread roll recipe| air fryer stuffed bread rolls

These air fryer stuffed bread rolls are crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a spiced potato filling.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 6-8 bread slices Thick sliced and brown bread preffered

For stuffing

  • 2 large potatoes boiled

Spices

  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • ½ tablespoon garam masala
  • ½ tablespoon dried mango powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of turmeric
  • ½ tablespoon red chilli powder adjust as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying or oil spray for air fryer

Instructions

  • Make the stuffing by mixing mashed boiled potatoes with green chilli, ginger, cumin seeds, garam masala, dried mango powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt.
  • Trim the bread edges, lightly dip each slice in water, squeeze gently, place the stuffing in the center, and seal to shape into oval rolls.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C, arrange the rolls in a single layer, brush or spray with oil, and air fry for 20 minutes total until crisp and golden brown.
  • Brush or spray a little more oil midway if needed for even browning.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
