Prepare the Cutlet Mixture:
Mix the mashed sweet potato, ragi flour, dried mint, grated ginger, and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine all the ingredients thoroughly until a dough-like texture is achieved.
Shape the Cutlets:
Form small portions of the mixture into circular, flattened patties (tikkis).
After shaping, put the patties in the freezer for 1-2 hours to make them firm.
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (355°F) for 5 minutes.
Cook the Cutlets:
Coat the cutlets with oil on both sides.
Arrange the cutlets evenly in the air fryer basket. Bake at 180°C (355°F) for 22-24 minutes, remembering to flip halfway through.
While cooking, apply a small amount of oil to the cutlets once to help them become crispy and golden brown.
Serve:
After cooking, take the cutlets out of the air fryer and allow them to cool for a bit.
Enjoy it hot with green chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
