- ½ kg potatoes peeled and cubed
- 2-3 tbsp. olive oil / vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt as per taste
Cube the potatoes and soak them in cold water for 3-4 hours. Soaking is optional, but it helps make the potatoes crispier.
Remove the water from the potatoes.Coat the potato pieces with 1 tablespoon of oil (no salt or seasoning yet).
Set the air fryer to 190 deg C and let it preheat for 5 minutes. Arrange them in the preheated air fryer tray in a single layer.
Cook the potato cubes in an air fryer at 190 deg C for 12-13 mins, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
Combine the seasoning mix in a bowl using 1 tbsp. oil.
Put the potatoes in the bowl. Coat the potatoes with it.
Cook for 8-10 minutes at 190 deg C or until desired crispness is achieved. (If desired, apply a light coat of oil during cooking.)
Serve immediately with basmati rice or naan bread.
