Beetroots
boiled
¾
cup
quinoa
boiled and strained
2
tbsp.
flaxseed meal
or chia seed meal
½
cup
buckwheat flour
or lentil flour (like chickpea flour/red lentil flr)

tbsp.
ginger
1
tbsp.
garlic
1
teaspoon
garam masala
Salt as per taste
Oil for brushing
Instructions
Boil quinoa with 1 cup of water and strain it. Keep it aside.
Process the beetroot in a food processor
Add all spices, quinoa, flaxseed mea,lentil flourl to beetroot and mix well.
Take a small amount of mix and make a smooth ball. Press it to make a patty or cutlet. Repeat for all the mix.
Freeze the patties for 3-4 hours, allows them to retain the shape.
Spray oil on the patties, air fry the patties for 18-20 mins at 190 deg C | 375 deg F (pre heated for 5 minutes ). Spray oil in between the cook.
Serve hot with
mint chutney
and
tomato
ketchup.

Notes
Allowing the patties to rest in the fridge helps with well shaped patties.
You may also freeze them for later use.
You may add potatoes in place of buckwheat flour
