5 Seed bar
Energy bars are great pick-me-up in between calls and meetings.
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- ¼ cup black sesame seeds
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup flax seeds
- ½ cup white sesame seeds
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ¾ cup raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 2 tbsp. rose water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Roast the sesame and flax seeds for 5-7 mins, keep it aside
- Roast the pumpkin and sunflower seeds for 5-7 mins,Keep it aside.
- In a pan, add oil and sugar.Let it cook on a low flame until it caramelizes.
- Add the rose water and turn off the heat.
- Now, add the seed mix,salt and mix well.
- Spread the mix on baking paper or a greased tray.Press evenly.
- Draw incisions.Break into desired shapes.
- Store in a dry jar. Serve fresh.
Notes
Note: Make sure that you make the incisions when the mixture is hot.Once it cools.it will set within few seconds and you will not be able to roll it on the board.
