Overnight oats is a clean eating recipe and yummy breakfast.Although you can make many recipes with oats like cookies,dosa,poha.This is the simplest.You can make this with Greek yogurt or milk and honey, for dairy option.Make it with agave and almond milk ,for vegan.Bachelors can make it and even those who cannot cook breakfast early in the morning, due to long travel.It is healthy and fresh fruits can give it a new twist and flavor by changing the options being used.
Make a smoothie with mango or berries if you do not like it whole.I ensure this is my on-the-go breakfast when in a hurry.

What are overnight oats?
Oatmeal porridge / Bircher Muesli has been a traditional breakfast for centuries in English countryside.Overnight oats with chia or overnight steel cut ones are healthy too.Generally, it is eaten as overnight oatmeal with Greek yogurt.
It works equally great for eating a cold breakfast in hot Indian summers.You can make it with yogurt or milk too.
Add various flavors with berries,apples,shredded coconut and peaches.You can add mangoes,chocolate also.
Add chia seeds,almonds pecans,walnuts & raisins to give it crunch.
How do you make overnight oats?
Add grated apple to soaked oats,add berries,banana and honey.

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1-1/2 cup milk/almond milk if vegan
- 1 apple shredded
- 1 cup of mixed berries blue,black,raspberry,strawberries
- 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup if eating vegan (optional)
- 1 banana sliced
- Soak the oats in milk overnight( or atleast 4 hours) in a refrigerator.
- Add shredded apple and mix.
- Garnish with banana sliced,berries and honey/maple syrup.
