    Vegan chia pudding | mango chia seeds pudding

    Vegan chia pudding is a great way to start the day. Chia seeds are a power-packed with energy.Add your favorite berries and fruits to it.You will get the best possible start to the day.If you want a no fuss breakfast on a busy day, overnight oats and chia puddings are perfect.

    You can add chopped fruit mangoes or berries like strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, as per your choice. You can also mix it with fruits like kiwis, banana and apples. Make a change every week according to the fruits you add. It also needs no cooking just soaking of chia seeds overnight on Sunday night or at least 1 hour prior. You can also make a banana cinnamon pudding if you do not have many fruits at home. Add a bit of cocoa if you like.

    How to make chia pudding with mangoes?

    • Scoop the mango and roughly chop them.

    • Add oat milk or any plant based milk to blender along with mangoes.

    • Blend it smooth, pour it to a bowl.

    • Add chia seeds to the bowl.

    • Mix it with a spoon and leave it for 1 hour.

    • Serve chilled topped with mango pieces.

    • It also helps fight diabetes
    • Helps build strong bones.
    • It also contribute to weight loss.

    Variations

    You can add any fruit you like berries or apples. blackberry chia pudding, peach chia pudding, acai chia pudding, dragon fruit chia pudding are great variations. chocolate banana chia pudding is great, if you want to have something sweet even without a cheat day. chia and flax seed pudding is also a great idea.

    Substitutions

    Non-vegans can make it using dairy. Vegans can use any plant based milk like soy, coconut, almond or cashew milk. pineapple chia pudding or citrus based chia puddings can only be made vegan. Adding dairy based milk with citrus fruits and banana is not good idea as per Ayurveda. If you want you can just blend it into a thick smoothie bowl, if eating it as whole makes you feel squeamish. coconut cream chia pudding can also be made if you like it more creamy. You can also add protein powder to your smoothie bowl.

    • 1 cup oat milk /or any plant based milk of your choice.
    • 1 cup mango pulp fresh or canned

    Instructions

    • Scoop the mango and roughly chop them.
    • Add oat milk or any plant based milk to blender along with mangoes.
    • Blend it smooth, pour it to a bowl.
    • Add chia seeds to a bowl.
    • Mix it with a spoon and leave it for 1 hour.
    • Garnish with more mango pieces before serving.

    Storage

    Store it in refrigerator. Use within 2 days. It usually thickens with time so add some more plant based milk to eat before you consume. You can also add chopped fruits and nuts optionally.

    Why is my Chia Pudding runny?

    If it is too runny, add more chia seeds to it. If it is too thick, add some liquid to it.

    Do chia seeds swell?

    Yes, hence eat them with oats and yogurt or milk whether dairy or plant-based.

    Warm chia pudding is made by heating oat milk chia pudding a little on stove top so that it gets porridge consistency.
