Instructions
- Slice apples using a mandolin slicer after removing the seeds with apple corer.
Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top of these slices.
- Place the apple slices in a single layer, in the air fryer basket or tray or you can also line them up in a skewer
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 120 degrees C | 240 degrees F. Place apples skewers in the air fryer basket. (If the airfryer option does not come down to 120C | 240 F, try using the bake option and see if that comes down, you can also try the dehydrate option, however that will take more time as that is at lower temperatures )
- Air fry the apple slices at 120C | 240F for 40-42 minutes.
- Store these in a air tight container
Variation
You can use different type of apples to make this recipe. Be it Granny Smith, green apples, Fuji, gala, pink lady, jazz, honey crisp or envy. You can even drizzle some maple syrup or caramel sauce on top when you serve along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
You can make crispy apple chips without the skewer too. Air fry apple slices in a tray or basket. You can serve this simple recipe with whipped cream , brown sugar or cinnamon sugar.
