How to make arbi cutlets in air fryer ? (recipe video)
Ingredients
- taro / arbi
- potato
- red lentil flour / gram flour / besan
- ginger paste
- paprika / red chili powder
- mint leaves
- salt
- oil spray

Instructions
In a food processor,add boiled potatoes, boiled taro along with remaining spices.
Combine the mashed arbi mixture with red lentil flour or chickpea flour.
Take a small portion of the mixture. Shape it into a small balls and flatten them to make cutlets. Place them in a tray over a baking sheet / parchment paper and cover it.
In a preheated airfryer, place the cutlets over baking sheet. Air fry them at 185C | 365F for 22-24 mins, spraying oil in between.
Serve hot with mint chutney, ketchup or dates chutney.
Variations and Substitutions
- Add bread crumbs for variety.
- You can spice up by adding red chilli powder, garam masala powder, or coriander powder for a richer Indian flavor.
- For a Hindu fasting compliant recipe, use sendha namak instead of salt, black pepper or green chillies instead of red chili powder as majority of Indian spices are avoided during fasting. Replace lentil flour with kuttu ka atta.
