Hence, it was time for us to move away from cookies and work to make snack balls with some seeds. These nut-free energy balls is a healthy snack for lunch boxes. It is perfect for those who have nut allergies or without.
I am always looking for grab-n-go snacks as children are always so agile. They have a tight schedules between school, play time and various hobbies that they want to pursue. It is always beneficial that they eat healthy and if possible homemade.

- Rolled oats
- pepitas/pumpkin seeds
- goji berries or raisins
- desiccated coconut
- maple syrup or agave syrup
- unsweetened cocoa powder/ cacao powder

Equipment
- Food processor / food processor
Ingredients
- 1 cup dates pitted
- ½ cup oats
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds pepitas
- ¼ cup goji berries or raisins
- 2 tbsp. dessicated coconut
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup /agave nectar/ honey for non-vegan option
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 tbsp. coconut oil / olive oil
Optional
- 2 tablespoon coconut flour for rolling the balls
Instructions
- In a food processor, add all the ingredients.
- Now, pulse it for for some time, until all ingredients are mixed.Use a spatula to mix them and then pulse it again.
- Roll into balls by taking small amount of mixture in your hands. You can use an ice cream scooper optionally to take the right amount for equal size balls. It might feel little sticky.
- Optionally roll into coconut flour
- Store these nut-free bliss balls in airtight container.
