Roasted nuts is a great snack for tea time. Many people love to buy store roasted peanuts, cashews and almonds but they are pricier overall and mostly fried. Baked almonds is an easy recipe to make if you want to avoid fried version. You can always make them in an air fryer oven. I always find my Ninja foodi more convenient than a traditional oven to make snacks. Once you start making them air fried roasted almonds will definitely be in your pantry forever.

- 1 cup unroasted almonds
- 2 teaspoon oil
- 1 teaspoon seasoning any seasoning mix of your choice
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer at 165deg C | 330 deg F for 5 mins.
- Place these unroasted almonds in a preheated air fryer basket (preheat at 165C|330F for 5 minutes)
- Air fry almonds at 165 C |330 F for 7-8 mins.
- Once done, these are ready to be enjoyed,alternatively you can add masala or any other seasoning along with 1 teaspoon oil. this will allow the seasoning to stick on the almonds.
- Store it in an air tight container once they cool down.

- Add some lime juice and black pepper to golden brown crunchy almonds make a delicious snack.
- You can just add sendha namak that we use for fasting days.
- You can also make candied almonds by melting some chocolate chips and adding some sea salt on it.
- You can also roast almonds in ghee if you are a vegetarian. It is one of my favorite recipes to snack on. I can eat it all day. I will trade this for a cookie or a mixture, any day. almonds are a great source of zinc and fiber and come with their health benefits albeit they may be little high in calories.
