- sourdough bread
- olive oil
- avocado
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper

- cherry tomatoes,halved
- Cubed cucumbers with pomegranate seeds
- red peppers/sweet bell peppers
- Toasted asparagus with garlic
How to make avocado toast?
- Heat a cast iron pan and place loaves of sourdough bread on it.
2. Drizzle some olive oil and toast the bread on both sides.
3. In a bowl, scoop out pulp of 2 medium avocadoes.
4. Mash the with a fork or back of a spoon to make a smooth guacamole. Add lemon juice,salt and pepper.
5. Spread the guacamole on the toasted bread generously.
6. Garnish with various toppings like chopped tomatoes and sprinkle salt and pepper on it as per your taste.
Variations
- You can use any bread loaf if you do not have sourdough.
Substitutions
- If you are a vegetarian, you may toast it with butter. Optionally, you can also add a fried egg on top.
Storage
- Store toppings separately in refrigerator. Serve after toasting bread fresh.
