This community primarily belongs to Rajasthan,Gujarat but has now spread to other areas due to trade.They are staunch vegetarians who use restricted vegetables.They do not eat root vegetables like potatoes,garlic and onions.It may have small micro-organisms which may get hurt during excavation.Although,use of milk products are allowed.
