- Mix vinegar with milk (very lightly warm) in a large bowl.
- Mix baking soda, cocoa and flour in a separate bowl.

Top tip: The sugar used is powdered after measure. if you powder the sugar then measure it, it will not be that sweet.

7. Pour the cake batter in a loaf tin. Garnish with crushed walnuts on top of the cake. Bake for at least 35 minutes at 170 deg C | 345 deg F, or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake.

Yes , you may replace that by 250gm butter/1 cup butter. The butter needs to be a room temperature .You may beat the butter with sugar first and add the flour etc later .Also the texture with butter is a bit different and you may need to re-heat the cake before serving as the butter will make the cake hard in cold weather.
