Ingredients
The block that I used was enough for 12 servings, hence I just used a part of it.
I used 2 blocks out of 8 i.e.
- soya nuggets
- onions
- carrot
- potatoes
- Japanese golden curry mix
- Water

Instructions
- Boil water and add soya chunks to it.
2. Cook it until soft,Strain it once done.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions & salt to it. Let it cook until they are lightly brown.
4. Now, add potatoes and carrots and cook them until they partly cooked.
5. Add soya nuggets to it and mix well.
6. Add a cup of water and let it simmer for 5 mins.
7. Mix the Japanese curry mix with ½ cup warm water. Follow packet instructions to make a thick paste.
8. Add the paste to sauce pan and let it come to a boil. Simmer for few mins and serve hot with rice. Adjust water as required.
Hint: You can add any veggies to this recipe like beans, broccoli and tofu or protein to Japanese golden curry.

You can also make an easy tofu curry to make an easy variation.
Step 1: Heat oil in a pan and add tofu blocks to it and shallow fry it.
Step 2: Mix the Japanese curry mix with ½ cup warm water. Follow packet instructions to make a thick paste.
Step 3: Fry tofu until brown on both sides.
Step 4: Add the sauce to the tofu.
Serve hot with rice.

- 2 blocks Japanese curry mix I used around 50gms.I prefer the golden curry blocks
- 2 medium onions
- 1 carrot
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1.5 cup water
- Salt as per taste the curry mix also has salt,so add only slightly.

- 300 gms tofu block extra firm tofu
