You can make them vegan, vegetarian or non-vegetarian depending on your diet preferences. They are one of the easiest of vegan recipes. How to make filling for potstickers?
- Heat oil. Add cabbage and ginger ,cook for few minutes in the skillet over medium heat.
2. Add spinach,spices and mix well. Turn it off once it wilts.
How to make vegan potstickers?

- Remove the gyoza wrappers from packet and keep the filling in a bowl.
- Add filling to individual wrappers, apply little water on the edges
- Carefully close each wrapper folding it at each end.
- Once the ends are closed together, it will shape up like a momo below.
- Repeat this for the whole filling.
- Steam them for 10-12 mins. Allow it to cool completely.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the gyoza to it, flip over after few minutes. You can also air fry these veg potstickers.
- Cook until crisp and brown. Serve hot with some chilli sauce.

Storage
Make and store steamed gyoza it in refrigerator in advance. Sauté it just before you serve.
Variation
- If you are not a vegetarian/ vegan, you may use non-veg fillings.
Substitution
You can use carrots, purple cabbage and even watercress or silverbeet for filling if you do not have spinach. Shiitake mushrooms, red peppers, green onions also taste great in these pan fried dumplings.
